By increasing awareness about health-related careers among our Island’s youth through innovative and captivating experiences including one-on-one mentoring, shadowing, hands-on workshops, training, and research opportunities, we can promote and support the development of a local healthcare workforce for Hawai'i County. Once in medical school, we can equip high-achieving health professions students with the experience and knowledge to best serve rural and underserved communities across Hawai'i Island.
