We support initiatives that enhance the quality of healthcare and ensure that our community has access to skilled professionals. Our educational programs empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to manage their health effectively, promoting wellness and preventing illness.
By increasing awareness about health-related careers among our Island’s youth through innovative and captivating experiences including one-on-one mentoring, shadowing, hands-on workshops, training, and research opportunities, we can promote and support the development of a local healthcare workforce for Hawai'i County. Once in medical school, we can equip high-achieving health professions students with the experience and knowledge to best serve rural and underserved communities across Hawai'i Island.
